My Story

“When you tell the truth, your story changes. When your story changes, your life is transformed.” - Mark Matousek

My Truth

For over 20 years, I supported mental health and wellness in fast-paced, high-pressure educational spaces, helping students, families, and staff navigate grief, trauma, and all the messy bits of being human. As a parent to a 16 and 13-year-old, I’ve learned just as much from adolescence at home as I have in the classroom.

In 2018, after decades of supporting others, I noticed signs of career burnout and chronic PTSD in myself and stepped away from my work in education. Feeling numb, exhausted, and disconnected, I was lost and alone. Determined to find clarity, I turned inward. While pursuing my doctorate in Leadership for Change, I began unraveling my story, only to realize that intellectual exploration alone was not enough. I needed deeper, embodied work. Through the guidance of a trauma-informed therapist, I started to explore the question, “Who am I?” This question became the cornerstone of my healing and awakening.

By March 2020, I had completed my doctorate, just as the pandemic brought the world to a standstill, forcing me to face the void I had long ignored. Listening to my soul and honoring what I truly needed, I pivoted toward a path of greater service. I trained at the California Institute of Integral Studies to deepen my ability to help others connect with their true selves, develop self-awareness, and cultivate resilience, emotional well-being, and a sense of inner alignment.

Today, I guide adults, teens, and couples using a holistic, trauma-informed approach that blends mind, body, and spirit. Some clients explore tools like Ketamine-assisted psychotherapy or psychedelic integration, though my core work is all about experiential therapy that helps you build resilience, clarity, and lasting growth.

I wear many hats as a mother, friend, life coach, guide, dancer, yoga lover, artist, gardener, and proud dog mom to Bodhi. Each part of my life informs my work, enriching the way I connect with clients and making our interactions richer, more grounded, and a little more enjoyable. I am honored to walk alongside individuals and couples as they navigate life’s twists, build resilience, and reconnect with their true selves.
